How to Evaluate an Online Income Program Before You Buy

Use this checklist to replace excitement with answerable questions.

1. Identify the economic engine

Write one sentence: “I earn money when ___ pays me for ___.” If the program cannot help you fill in both blanks, you do not yet understand the opportunity.

2. Separate revenue from profit

Revenue screenshots do not reveal advertising spend, software costs, refunds, fees, taxes, labor or failed campaigns. Ask what costs are excluded.

3. Test earnings claims

Look for independently verifiable evidence, representative results and clear assumptions. Treat unusually precise earnings paired with unusually little work as a reason for deeper scrutiny.

4. Check seller and offer transparency

Who is responsible for the product? What exactly is delivered? What skills are required? Is support described? Are material limitations disclosed?

5. Read checkout and refund terms

Platform-wide policies are useful context, but the actual purchase terms matter. Save a copy of the terms shown when you buy.

6. Compare with a direct business model

Before paying for a system, compare it with affiliate marketing, freelancing, or digital products so you understand the tradeoff.
